Front Collision Guard.
Front Collision Guard (FCG) is a unique passive safety system designed to protect the driver and tour guide in the event of a frontal impact. FCG consists of a complex safety system. Its components include a transverse section that acts as an underride guard to protect other road users in case of an accident and which is capable, for example, of protecting a passenger car. The frame behind this section is made up of crash elements, which absorb energy in the event of an impact.
In addition, the driver's area including the steering, pedals and seat is now mounted on a solid frame section that slides backwards in its entirety in the event of a serious frontal impact to increase the driver's survival space by vital centimetres. The engineers have not just theoretically calculated the effectiveness of the Front Collision Guard, but they have also practically validated their calculations in a series of crash tests.
